Located at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier, EBC is encircled by some of the most iconic peaks on Earth. Standing at 5,364m, surrounded by Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and the imposing Khumbu Icefall, this is one of the most extraordinary places a hiker can reach.
The trek passes through Sagarmatha National Park, crossing suspension bridges over glacial rivers, climbing through the Sherpa heartland of Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, and sleeping under skies dense with stars at high-altitude teahouses.
This expedition was completed to raise $30,000 for charity — made possible by incredible sponsors and supporters who believed in the mission. Standing at Base Camp, watching the Khumbu Icefall creak and shift above, is a humbling reminder of the scale and power of the natural world.
